The four (4) BBQ pits at the Upper BBQ Site are available for use by residents living in staff quarters; and departmental functions.

B.  Booking by Staff Residents

 

C.  Booking for Departmental Functions

  • Reservation must be submitted by email to the Head of Housing, with endorsement from the Department Head, not less than 2 weeks before the intended date of use.
  • Normally, three (3) departmental functions will be allowed per month provided they are not in the same week.
  • Booking for departmental functions will usually be permitted at Session 2 on Friday and Session 1 on Sunday.
  • Approval of the reservation shall subject to availability and is on a first-come-first serve basis.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to the successful applicant.

 

D.  Rules for Using of the BBQ pits

  • The users may be requested to show the booking confirmation email for further checking.
  • Unauthorized use of BBQ pits is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.
  • Users should be considerate and not to affect other BBQ pit users nearby.
  • Users are required to keep the noise level down in order not to cause nuisance to the Staff Quarters residents nearby.
  • All foods must be taken away and fire completely extinguished before leaving.  The BBQ pits and area around must be cleaned after use.  Rubbish should be packed properly and put into the refuse bins.
